Here's What We Do! LIMITED TIME OFFER – ACT NOW! Over the past 44 years, REAL Services has been privileged to enable tens of thousands of homebound, elderly and disabled people to live independently as much as possible, to remain in their homes, and to have a life of dignity. The staff and Board of Directors are sincerely grateful to the community for its support and encouragement. Meals on Wheels is our most visible and well-known program. But it is one of many programs of REAL Services. In addition to its Meals and Nutrition Programs, we provide Energy Assistance, Transportation, Guardianship, Nursing Home Ombudsman, Weatherization, Family Development, Crime Victim Assistance, Foster Grandparent Program, volunteer helpers and information about all long term care options. Many programs have experienced funding cuts. The Guardianship Program just lost all of the $71,000 in funding that had been provided from the State of Indiana. We cannot abandon these people in need. We at REAL Services are working on alternatives to support programs for low income seniors. Among other initiatives, we created the REAL Room Makeover Raffle. Raffle tickets are $50 each and the winner will receive a $25,000 REAL Room Makeover built by Peacock and Company. There are 24 other prizes. Proceeds from the raffle will support senior services such as the Guardianship Program.
